I need to integrate my act calendar w/ a Daily Planner software to manage my time better. And I need it to synch w/ my phone (Black Jack II). Does anyone know the best way to do this or recommend a planner software that works well with act.

I would like to utilize Franklin Covey, but I'm not sure how well it will work going through Outlook.

Thanks sincerely, Hampton

I think the Blackjack II runs Microsoft Windows 6, so the best way to sync it to ACT! would be Handheld Contact, See
What are you looking for from the planner software that ACT! doesn't do?

Thanks Mike, I apprehend that the planner software helps you breakdown organize your time to keep a balanced schedule, i.e. family role, business role, social role, fitness / then budget time for different projects under the different roles. I'm very unorganized in this way.

Your website is NICE! Can you tell me how to know what version of windows the Black Jack II is running?

From your site, I apprehend that I just need to download "Handheld Contact" and sync. Is that correct.

Thanks sincerely, Hampton

You should be able to do all the scheduling in ACT!... especially if you create additional custom activities for the personal stuff. Handheld Contact is also the only PDA link that will sync custom activity types.

I looked up the BlackJack II in Google to find out :)

You download the HHC "Computer Application" onto the PC that you have your ACT! database and set it up and follow the instructions.

Mike, Thanks a ton. You are the man.

I'm downloading it onto my desktop now. I have the corporate edition of ACT 2005. It is on my server and I have a license for my desktop.

1. Can I do it all from my desktop?

2. Can you foresee any reason I need to upgrade my version of ACT?

Thanks sincerely, Hampton

Hi Mike,

Thanks sincerely for you help. They rep at Sage said that 11.0 syncs perfectly with Outlook. I would like to utilize the Franklin Covey Plan Plus organizing software which integrates with outlook. As stated earlier, I would like to use my PDA for scheduling, etc. The Rep said it would all flow seamlessly b/n ACT, Outlook and my cellular. Does that sound reasonable to you?

Thanks sincerely for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Hampton
