ACT 6 Contacts have a required field 1

Hello, We are using ACT 6, the problem is when we click on contacts before ACT lets us input any data, a pop up message appears and says "Sales Stage" requires a selection from the dropdown, Please specify a dropdown selection before continuing.

Please help us get rid of this required field, I looked for a setting but can't find one anywhere.

Hello uniqman,
If you have "Administrator" security level you can go into the "Define Fields" (Edit menu) then locate the "Sales Stage" field then remove the "required" setting.
