I had a ACT-50 Working on an IPECS 300, the IT Tech unplugged for a while & when plugged back in says 'Error sip regist' i logged into ACT-50 & In Server Name

SIP
SIP Server: Disable
Enable
SIP Server Name: MFIM or VOIM 8 ?
SIP Server Password: Password in 443

SIP Address: sip:4466@ MFIM or VOIM8

SIP Unit ID:
Regist Expiration(60-65535): sec
Session Expiration(90-65535): sec
On display now says Extn number ....when dial out says Error sip regist ...????? anyone help pls
 
Hi qldlgtech,

Is your MFIM Phase 5.0 or 5.5? If 5.0 SIP server is the address of the VOIM gateway.

If 5.5 the SIP server should be the MFIM IP address. Also for 5.5 you need to remove "sip:" from the address and provide password for the registration.

Also is the ACT50 in your local network or as a remote device?
