Act! 2000 E-mail Addresses disappeared!!!

My co-worker's Act! 2000 E-mail Addresses disappeared. Is there a way to restore these? There is no back-up file. Over 700 contacts in database.

Hello nilbo,
Disappeared? From the database or just from the layout? Your post is not clear about that. Can you try exporting a look up to double check that the emails are truely gone.

If there is no back up and the email addresses have truely disappeared your co-worker is out of luck.

I guess this would be a good time to start backing up on a regular basis.

Thanks Storyteller. The data has disappeared and there was no back-up. I just wonder what caused it, just the e-mail addresses getting wiped out?

The emails in ACT! 5/6 are stored in a seperate file (edb) - is that there? What's it's size?
