ACT 10.0.1.199 Birthday Field Gone Crazy?!

Every client with which I enter a birthday date in the birthday field "00/00/0000" the follow day ACT! has created "meetings" with no specific time for each birthday anniversary from birth to the present date....for ALL clients with a date in the birthday field.

My birthday is 10/31/1957 and if I were a client and had my birthday entered into this database it would create 50 reminders!

Should I simply AVOID using this field or is there a setting that I can use to eliminate this issue?

Are you using any add-on products? ACT! doesn't do that on it's own

Nope! No add on programs. I use Companionlink to copy ACT! informatio to my Dell handheld, but I know they aren't responsible for this. I have spoken to them. I don't have the $300 extended technical support and of course there is no Sage support member forum to help. Any ideas?
