ACS 7 with Voicemail 2

Hi

I just installed a new ASC 7 and my old VM pc card, problem is that when someone calls in on any of the 3 lines something is picking up the calls it gives a quick beep and then it says your call cannot be completed at this time, and then it starts playing the message.

When I had my ACS 5 with the same setup it worked fine.

What I would like it to do is when a call comes in on one of the 3 lines, all extensions will ring for 6 rings if it is line 1 or 2 and no one answers mailbox 1 at extension 10 pickups the mail. if it is line 3 mailbox 2 picksup at extension 11.

What am i doing wrong. This is driving me nuts, also I cannot dial 777 to get into the mailboxes?

Put the VM ports into Hunt Group 7:
#505-7-78-1
#505-7-79-1

Do NOT assign the lines to Call Dist Grp 7:
#206-7-01-2
#206-7-02-2
#206-7-03-2

Use call cover to assign the lines to the covering extensions:
#208-01-10
#208-02-10
#208-03-11

Make sure the extensions have Auto VMS Cover
#310-10-1
#310-11-1

Set the Call Cover Rings to 6
#321-10-6
#321-11-6

Make sure that Ext. 10 rings on Lines 1 and 2, and Ext. 11 rings on Line 3 through Centralized Extension Programming.

 
Thanks That worked great, I spent 3 hours trying to fix it.

Is there a way to reset the PC Voicemail card such as passwords and messages?

There is, and it might have been posted previously. However, I can't post it in an open forum. Next best way is to log into the system administrator's mailbox, and one of the options is to reinitalize a mailbox (and it is based on MAILBOX, box 1 through 4, not extension, 10-18). This will wipe out the greeting, message, and password.
