I verified with TR set at RJ that CO is sending CLID. Reset system #989 and still no joy. Using 18 button displays sets. Listened with butt set, data transmitted between ring 1 and 2. Heard rumor that may have to go back to R5. Any ideas??

What type of co's. Are they true analog lines or are they digital going through a channelbank.

Full Autoattendant? EC cards? Lines Set to Immediate ring? By #989 you mean you did a full default erase? Is this happening on one line, or all lines? I'm assuming you are using an ACS R5. We had a similar issue on one line and found it to be a defective ACS processor.

ID is automatic on all ACS's as long as the call rings at least 2 times.
The only programming is for logging the calls.
What is your system setup?

As I said before, I connected a t/r set with CLID to CO lines and works ok. I took 308 unit to another location with CLID lines and hooked up, CLID works just fine!! Next step is to refer back to Qwest. Just guess what they'll say! Any ideas on what to say to them??

Who is Qwest? Are they the provider? Are they a third party company using Verizon lines. There is a known issue with compatibility btween Avaya and Adtran concerning caller ID.
