I've created a publication in PM 6.5.with CMYK graphics. When I export to Acrobat PDF file, all graphics are listed as RGB. Service provider (newspaper) is unable to print any color graphics as a result.

I ran a test file and this is what I found. When you run the Distiller within PageMaker, there are three areas that need specific attention for your application. They are: Compression, Color Model, and Advanced Options. These options can be found under the drop down menu usually headed as "General" on the opening distiller screen.

Compression default is set to LZW/JPG Med - res at 72.
If you are sending your job to a service provider as we both know, this will not due.

Color Model default is set at RGB.
Here is where I think you will achieve your desired results. It made a world of difference in my test doc.

Advanced Options default -
Neither the Preserve overprint settings, nor the Preserve halftone screen info is selected. Depending on your project, I would check one or both of these options.

Hope this helps.
Tried your suggestions and they made a world of difference. Thanks very much for the response.
