Acrobat Distiller 1

Microsoft software such as excel, word, ms project, ms access could print in acrobat distiller printer. Is there anyone knows to print primavera layout in acrobat distiller printer? I tried to print it but a dialogue box appear " General Error". Thanks

I dont have Distiller, but I do have pdf995 which is a very cheap but effective pdf file writer from pdf995.com.

You can use it without paying for it, but you get pop-up ads which are irritating after a while but also easy enough to close down each time. To buy the code which stops the pop-ups only costs $10.

I use this software to print layouts from P3 with no problems whatsoever.

Thanks to "tek-tips" website and to "twprima". It works and nice to produce printed reports directly from Primavera layout and printing to pdf995 printer driver and can save in pdf format saving the files with less memory.

Primavera documents is easily converted into pdf format in A4 or letter size paper only using PDF995 printer driver. I tried to select different sizes such as A3,28" X 40" for the purpose of producing printed report in a big size of paper by converting first in pdf format but it failed. a dialog box appear "Print margin is too large". I appreciate if anybody could share the answer more particular from "TWPRIMA".

We've used PDF995 with some success, and with some exceptions. Oversize sheets have created problems as above, and some report formatting and fonts have created problems. I found some help by looking for distiller errors associated with fonts. I fixed the issue in our report by reformatting the offending label.

I also fixed our similar issues by upgrading to Acrobat 6.
