I'm working in Acrobat 4.0 and have a simple text edit to make. The problem is that the text touchup tool is nowhere to be found. Anyone have any suggestions?

The T (text) icon should be located at the bottom of your left tool bar. If you see an arrow instead of a "T", click and hold on the arrow until it changes to a "T".

There are several tool bar icons setup this way in all of Adobe's products including Acrobat. The tell tale sign for these toggle icons is a very small arrow (looks more like a dot) in the bottom right hand corner of the icon box.

Now if by chance your tool bar ends with say the form tool or the signature tool, then I suggest you reinstall your software because something is amiss.

Thanks for the tip. Reinstalling did the trick. I also gained a couple of thools I hadn't realized were missing.

As I edit I notice the fonts used for correction are some sort of default generic font. Doesn't Acrobat have the ability to use any embedded font for corrections?
