ACOD not dialing out trunk

Hello
I'm not getting dialtone when dialing my ACOD for trunk... External dialing basically, this is in association with dialing a 9... I have monkeyed around trying to bring up a failed pri converting back to DTI... I am receiving Inbound calls on trunk but unable to make outbound...

What happens when you dial 7900, the ACOD to the trunk group?

I don't hear anything, not sure if I'm not provided dialtone... I have a gateway device providing the trunk... Like stated, I get calls thru but not sure if I have route setup right for outbound...

Could there an EM wnk signal I'm missing? Like a polarity switch in the gateway device? With my setup there should I hear dialtone on trunk TN?

You would have to know how the gateway is configured, who knows. How are the trunks programmed? Dial tone would be provided by the gateway or the CO

I think you are goint to have to out the route and trunks and build them back as TIE

errored trying to get new to TIE...
(route confict type)

tried to change RDB from did to TIE, unable to change route of trunk error sch3146.
i will have to try to out route and rebuild on off time... But is there anything we can tell from the trunk setup?

You wont be able to change from DID to TIE until you out all the trunks, out the RDB, and then build back route and trunks. You cant just change the type in the RDB.

That trunk set up looks fine as long as it matches the far end. It's basically set up 4 wire E&M which is typical. But the far end has to be set up wink start E&M also

Just because you aren't hearing dial tone doesn't mean you cant call out. The far end is supplying the dial tone when you dial the ACOD
