Thanks for taking the time and reading my post

not sure if I am explaining this well, or I am just an idot trying to make something that seems simple - 'Hard'.

I have a blank form (simple enough)
I click on the toolbar and drag over a textbox (still simple)
I click on the toolbar and drag over a command button (still simple)
I remove All Headers and footers (still simple)
I resize the textbox this big:

'.........................................................'^'
'.........................................................'.'
'.........................................................'.'
'.........................................................'.'
'.........................................................'.'
'.........................................................'.'
'.........................................................'.'
'.........................................................'.'
'.........................................................'.'

I enable the vertical scroll on the textbox (still simple)
nothing is link, no record source ....... nothing.

How can I tell if the user is scrolling the text box
And has reach the bottom of the scrolling.

That is my Ultimate Goal

sorry for the long wind dialog.

Thanks, Hope this is enough so Someone can understand what
I am trying to achieve.

Andrew

I don't think Access exposes properties for the scroll bars on text boxes. However, you can roll your own. Drop an ActiveX scroll bar control on your form and it will have Min, Max and Value properties that you can use to see whether the user has scrolled to the bottom. The only gotcha is that you will have to programmatically coordinate the scroll control and your text box.
