ACE Certification

Has anyone taken the ACE certification? If so, is the test hard? Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't found much use for it, especially since this is an Internet based test. Not much security.

What would you suggest then? I need to learn more about database connectivity, stored procedures, integration with vb etc. The only trouble is I am in the UK, and there seems to be nothing going on here at all.

I haven't taken it, so I don't know how well they teach you. I can't imagine it being a good value from the purely educational point of view. From others who have taken it (very few) it is possibly helpful for demonstrating WHAT you know, than it is for learning more.

Since you are going to be reading most of their material anyway, I would advise getting some good reference books and reading them, as well as reviewing the posts here in TT. If you want to spend that kind of money you could hire an expert to Tutor you for 15 hours or so; you just don't get the piece of paper.
