All,

Hope you can help on this.

We a have an M2616 as a reception phone with divert on busy/no answer to voicemail. This works OK.

For an out of hours announcement I have programmed an ACD nbr 111 with maxp 1 (but no agent). NCFW to 7000 Voicemail.
I have a VSDN set up with an announcement recorded etc.

However, when the reception phone is forwarded to 111, instead hearing the nightsvc announcement you still get the VM greeting of the reception phone.

Where am I going wrong?

Any advise is much appreciated.

noithing, the vm is "smart" enough to play the greeting of the original dialed number greeting. do you have a console? if so nite works great or idc tables. if not look at time of day controls in the voice mail. that lets you pick greeting based on time of day/ day of week.. a work around can be found if neither of these fill request..

You could try to allow the "second level forward" feature in the reception pnones CLS. I think it is SFA. That way, the original dialed digits will follow to VM and you will hear the proper announcement.

John,

thanks for the advice - apologies for delay - loads of work requests to deal with.

The Time of Day set up worked a treat.

Many thanks
Jimbo
