I have setup an ACD (456) to NCFW to a toll free number. When I dial the extension, I am able to be transferred to the toll free number. However, if I press option 4 in the calling tree menu(which is programmed to transfer to ext.456) I am being transferred to the Operator not the toll free number. What am I missing?

Change NCFW 918889961919 to NCFW xxxx18889961919, xxxx is the Trank Access Code.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

acewarlock

How do I detmine which trunk access code to use?
I'm fairly new with this system.

Usually Route 0 is you local trunks but not always. goto

The system is an option 61.

In LD 90
It is prompting me for a FEAT after CUST.

Here is the print out of RLB4

ok, LD 2, prt the rdb of route 6, you'll see the ACOD and the numbers to the right, insert those 4 numbers as stated above and test

sorry, that's LD21, not 2. Brain is slow today

I entered those 4 numbers in front of the toll free number and now I get routed to a different department. Do I have to create a new trunk access route? If yes, is that difficult to do?

Try adding the acod and put the 9 back infront of the phone number xxxx91889961919. Could be that this is a tie to another system and the RLI reinserts the 9 to go out another system.

Print DMI 1 in ld 86 prt feat=dgt dmi=1, if it says insert 9 then this is the case.

Go to LD 86. PRT CUST=0 FEAT=DGT DMI=1 to see what digit manipulation is happening on that RLI and post for us to see.

Here is the printout in LD 86.

it doesn't matter what RLI is being used or what the DMI is doing, because the person is using the route ACOD - which bypass BARS/NARS.

What is the ACOD you tried to use?

It does not matter what rli is in the switch he is dialing from all I was saying was that if the dmi on that rli inserted a 9 then he would have to put the 9 back infront of the number manually since he is no longer going through BARS.

And since it says delete 1 it maybe that you only have to put acod + 8889961919. The carrier may not require you to dial a 1.

Is the NCOS level on the voicemail ports high enough to call that number?
