We have an ACD setup for our helpdesk (3660). We have 5 phones in the queue. (1140e and 3904) The queue has ncfw to callpilot (1980) with a regular vm box. Each person has an individual DN with voicemail. What is the best way to get notification lights for each. People need to know they have a message on their individual DN and also to know there is a message on the queue vm. I cant do : key 7 xmwk 1980 3660. it gives this error:

ITEM key 7 xmwk 1980 3660
SCH1206
KEY !
>err sch1206

SCH1206
DN to be associated with XMWK key is not configured on this set.
Configure the DN as non-PDN.
Severity: Info

is there a good way to do this?

I assume each user has a SCR key for there DID? that would be there Mailbox number correct? if thats the case the
MWL Dn would be same as DID/Mailbox Number, that would Like the Standard MWK on each phone when they get a message.
If you have a Queue Mailbox the xmwk key would just be that Mailbox number...not the 1980 number.

currently the red message light turns on when he gets a voicemail on his individual DN. I need a way to let him know there is a message waiting on the queue VM.

so the XMWK should be on Say Key 5, I say this becasue if you put it on Key 6-12 you would have to use the shift key, but you could try key 6...the key programming would be key 6 xmwk 1980 3660 I assume thats the MB Number of 3660? It may not let you do this cuz its an ACD Queue. you might have to go into the Mailbox and make 3660 MB light on one of the Agent sets directly..

correct i cannot do that:
ITEM key 5 xmwk 1980 3660
SCH1206
KEY !

ok so just go into callpilot and change
MWI DN1: 1797
instead of 3660

You would probably just have to assign 1 station in the area that is only the light for the ACD queue. There is not a way to light both for a DN message and an ACD message that I am aware of. But I do know if you want to light an agent phone you HAVE TO HAVE another SCR key (as rollover) cuz MWI won't work well with agent phones.
If you got messages at the same time how would you know? Does the light just re-light once you close out from checking your DN mailbox (or vice versa)?
I always wondered why Nortel did not include (or use) the blue light for additional MWI ...
