I was wondering if it is possible to program ACD groups on a norstar. If so how or where can I find the steps/feature keys to hit to do this?

ACD feature is going to be in your voicemail. if you have a nam or call pilot, it's an additional feature. I recommend calling a vendor.

Is the NAT that you are talking of 'norstar application module'?

If so I dont think our's has that module. We have a M8X12-DS with expansions M12X0 and M0X16. Are we able to upgrade to a NAT?

Also do you know how to figure out what software version a norstar is running?

yes you need at least that NAM. I recommend a CP, but NAM's are durable. There will be a software cartridge in your switch. Open the door and look for a number ie.- 4.1

what about ACD groups on a CICS Copact-Intergrated Call System- Its got call pilot on it. Are ACD groups possible in this system?

NAMS are discontinued. If you have voice mail, you have some type of mail. Press Feature 985 and see if you get an extension # or inactive feature. If you get a #, you have mail.
Unless you have a vendor with a lot of pull you will not be able to get a NAM in any way except pre configured and Nortel will no longer generate key codes.

That said, if you buy a NAM and people also want voice mail the only safe thing to do is to have one unit for mail and one for ACD. The Co-Res solution is risky.

If you are lucky you can read the version number from the software cartridge.
RYLSFAN is right, get a CallPilot and try to get a little help from a trained tech.
