I work on base and have 4 option 81C's and an option 11c. One of my switches is in a hospital with an ACD group for central appointments. All of my base numbers have an NXX of 830 and when calling the ACD group with an 830 number the ACD works fine. When calling from an off base number, for example NXX of 368, once put into que in the ACD after about two and a half minutes the call is dropped.(this call uses the same route as 830 to get to the hospital) If you call from a cell phone you also get dropped after two and a half minutes, but receive an error message from an external switch. Is this a problem in my switch?

Do you have symposium?
Does every call not within 830 get dropped?

I would check your overflow in the ACD.

use's the same route? do all calls share the same route, ie internal calls, travel via cdp, assuming internal calls do not travel out and back in on your did's.. meaning you have at least one external route common to all external calls. i would look at that route compared to my tie routes and see if i have a mismatch, timing, pni etc. the only prompt i know of that will time a active call is tfd on the route timers.. those should all equal 0, not 180

Every call that is not 830 gets dropped. All external calls are routed through the main base switch, they are then routed to the hospital and into the ACD. The route calls use from the main switch to the hospital is the same route 830 calls use..........yes, all external calls use the same route.......I'll check out the route timers and repost to see if this works.

I can't find tfd on the route timers when you print in load 21, I see in the NTP's where you program in LD 16......where can this information be found?
