ACD Agent Limit Problem 1

I am trying to build out more ACD phones for our call center and have run into an interesting snag. LD11 tells me that I still have 201 ACD TNs available. However, when I do my copy procedure I get an SCH3122 which means, "The number of ACD Agents requested exceeds the number of positions left." Any idea why this could be happening?

in your acd block youneed to bump up "maxp" prob. and i would not copy sets for acd apps. late
 
dawgnu is correct. If you would create a copy from ACD set the existing 'template' cannot be used properly (corrupted).
It's better to record a script (in Procomm or other tools) and edit it so you only need to fill in the PosID and personal DN manually.
 
In the ACD 5800 check for the MAXP. If neccessary increment the value for allow programming aditional agents.

I was able to increase the MAXP from 100 to 120, but I was unable to go any larger than that. Is there a keycode that restricts the number of positions per ACDN? I still have 201 ACD Agents available and they will all need to be in the same ACDN when they are programmed.
 
have you tried building it without copying. using a different agent id number.
 
yes. The problem is that the MAXP of my ACDN has a limit of 120. I need to know if there is a keycode to increase that number.
 
Yes. Draxis, I am having the same problem. Does anyone know how to up the limit from 120?
 
Actually I figured this problem out a while ago, but forgot to post what I found out. The problem seems to be that the MAXP for any ACDN on an Option 11C is 120. That is a limit of software and can't be changed. That limit is increased to 250 on a 61C and to 500 on an 81C.

If you need more than 120 agents, your choices are to get a larger phone system or to build a new ACDN for the rest of your users.
 
DONT EVER copy an ACD phone. You WILL corrupt your data base and then you will be in trouble. Probably only NORTEL would be able to fix the corruption. You may get lucky a few times but watch out.
