Another quick question,

ACCPAC v5.5 will not run on a virtual machine, does anyone know if v5.6 will have the ability to run on a virtual machine?

Thanks again,

-Jon

I've got 5.5 running in VMWare. What are you using and what errors are you encountering?

Not currently set up. Just someone had asked. They did some research and said it couldn't be set up on v5.5. I guess they didn't look in the correct place. What kind of setup is required? Anything to watch for setting it up with v5.5?

Thanks

It isn't supported by Sage meaning that you won't get technical support but it can be set up that way. I don't think there is anything special when setting up the system. Just make sure you have lots of RAM.

I have just about every version of Accpac running on a VM, it works fine. There is nothing special about installing Accpac on a VM, Accpac runs on a VM just like it runs on any other machine.
