Hi,

Has anyone created a Macro wherein an Accpac Form is embedded and the database is Oracle?

Hi tuba2007,

I'm having problems on my macro. I'm using Accpac 5.5 and oracle 10g

I created a macro where I embedded the Journal Entry (Accpac GL2100), but when I try to run it an error window pop-ups

Sage Accpac Signon Manager Window

Cannot open application with stored signon information:
Session could not be opened.
Please try signing on again.

The database has nothing to do with this.

Client OS?
VB or VBA Macro?
If VBA, can you run it in debug mode?

Hi tuba2007,

Client OS? Windows 2003
VB or VBA Macro? VBA Macro
If VBA, can you run it in debug mode? Sorry I'm new to this how do i run it on debug mode

Hi tuba2007,

I run it on debug mode.
When I press F8 the Macro form will show then the Sage Accpac Signon window.
I filled-up the form and click OK then an error window pop-ups

Sage Accpac Signon Manager
Session could not be opened.

I tried 3 times to signon but still the same result
When I click CANCEL window pop-ups

G/L Journal Entry
Could not open the UI.
The system may be busy because another application(such as a data conversion application) has locked the company's database. Otherwise, the UI was not opened because an unexpexted error has occured.

I continued to press F8 it highlighted this rows
Private Sub AccpacGL2100UICtrl1_OnUIAppClosed()
Unload UserForm1
End Sub

Sounds like a version control problem. Search the whole drive for *.EXD, and delete them.

Hi tuba2007,

I have deleted all *.exd but it still showing the errors.

I have uncheck the box. The errors are still showing.

Something basic is wrong with your install. Rerun workstation setup, then run ..\Programs\REGACC.EXE.

Hi tuba2007

I have re-installed the accpac in the server i'm using, but i'm still seeing the errors.

I'm wondering how about the oracle configuration?

Maybe, but I don't know. All my macros run interchangeably on Oracle and MSSQL, I've never had any issues.
