Hello

We have a payroll check posted to 2010, then realized there's a mistake a couple days back, so needed to reverse this check. User tried to apply reversal to 2010, but it did not work (ACCPAC applies it to 2011).
After a couple tries, user requests that we just delete the entries for the (original) payroll check posted to 2010. And just recreate a new check for 2010, with the correct amounts.
1. Do you know of any other options we could try?
2. If delete from the tables, we are thinking we need to remove entries from UPCHKH and UPCHKD. Then update the amounts in UPYTDS. Do you know if there are any other tables we have to fix?

Thank you very much for your input.

User tried to change the date (from UI) while reversing check, but the date used (2010) did not apply. Instead, ACCPAC still used the 2011 date.

Thank you!

They didn't look hard enough, or this is an old version.

If you cut a new check for 2010, you'll need to put identical negative entries in Employee History so that the W2 and 941 is correct. Also, put positive history entries into 2011 so that it zeroes out as well.

Note that there is an option in payroll setup to use the original check date when reversing. This should usually be checked.
