ACCPAC 5.5A runs very slow AND setting change for no reason!

Company upgraded to Server 2008 with purchase of new server. We run ACCPAC 5.5A on terminal server for 10 users. Now ACCPAC runs very slowly - but not always - which is confusing. And some days when we begin work, settings (primarily printing) have changed. We use PrintBoss for certain forms.

AVG is our virus protection. Virus definition updates take place in the evening. Program updates and all scans have been disabled.

Does anyone have any other experience with this problem?

Did you change the server name?
Was the old server taken offline?
Did you check the PATH?
How about the Accpac Customization Directories?

The server name remained the same.
The old server was completely removed.
I will have to check on the other 2 items. I have an ACCPAC specialist that I rely on for the company setup. I will pass this along to him. Thanks. We are desperate to get these issues resolved.
