Hi All,

I'm trying to get a cheap call accounting peice of software (MiStats) to pick up calls coming in through the main number and have not had much success so far. Calls coming through other trunks to DDI phones are picked up but nothing those coming through the main number.

The set up (as far as I can see) is as follows.

When people call the main number the are presented with the auto attendant (RAD?), which is set up as an ACD interflow dialling list with 5 options. When 0 is pressed by the caller the call goes to 1999 which then rings all 3 5550 consoles at the same time. There are options 1-4 as well which we would like to report on.

I have set up SMDR for the handsets and consoles and enabled both internal and external in the COS for trunks, consoles and handsets.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great?

Cheers,
Chris

As a bit of additional info 1999 is a transfer only mailbox.

Cheers,
Chris

Since the calls are answered by voicemail ports you need SMDR on in their COS as well. You should also have show transfers on in SMDR options.

Basically a call to your AA hits the VM hunt group where they access what sounds like a multi level AA and the caller hits a key for a choice. The call is then transfered by the VM port to the appropriate phone. Since the VM port answers and then transfers the calls it needs to have SMDR options configured.

The 1999 mailbox will be transfering to extension 1999 which will be a key on all 3 of your consoles.

Options 1-4 will be transfer mailboxes to some destination but again the transfer is done by the VM ports.

You may need to add the extensions for the VM ports to your MiStats database.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Hi Loopy,

I had to enable internal and external SMDR in OCS for VM and RAD. I can now seen incoming calls in via Telnet and in MiStats. Looking in my ACD options the directory number for the call forward are set up in there so:

0-1999
1-1027
2-1038
3-1009
4-2000

So although you're correct in saying 1999 is a mailbox to transfer, the other options simply go directly to an extension rather than transfer mailbox. Not sure why the main office was set up that way. The only issue now being that the reciever number from an incoming call shows up as recieved by P981 twice, first one im guessing is the RAD greeting then the second entry is after the user has selected an option, I'll see if the client can cope with that, if not back to the drawing board!

There is an AA mailbox set up but it seems someone changed their mind and went down ACD route instead as I remember having real trouble changing the greeting on the 'AA' until I worked out how it was set up!

Thanks for your help with this one!
