Hi ...

I have multiple ARS for Local, National, Mobile, International.
all the users have Mobile User rights and want to use account code to dial International call
I set up an account code ( for ex: 1234) and go to user - Telephony - supervisior options, and check the Force authoraization code.
on the phone I start dial 9 and then the account code (1234), on the phone display appear Enter account Code and I hear beep and cant dial any other digit mean the system wait me to dial but when I dial no thing appear still the beep,
can you tell me where the missing in this configuration ?

You have to remember that Set account code dials an account code and then returns dial tone for the user to dial a number.

The account code must be set in Manager>Account Codes.

If you dial set account code using a short code don't forget to enter #
Enter # when you've finished dialling your account code.

Hi holdmusic34 ...

ya I set account code as i tell you (1234), but when start to dial (I use a 9 as an access code) then account code, the phone display Enter account code, already i entered, and after this just i hear a beep and cant dial any digit more.
I use ARS in dialplan not a shortcodes.

Thanks dear.

you need to program a short code for "Set Account Code" it cannot be set just by dialling out (not 100% True but difficult to make reliable if you try). your users then use the sequence:-

Dial set account code, wait for beep, enter code, wait for Dialtone, Dial number

What you currently have happening is the IPO waiting for digits, it does not start processing when you dial 9 but waits for the user to dial more digits than is set in "Dial Delay count"
it then sees the forced account code is flagged but an account code ha not yet been set so it prompts for one, this is effectively putting the prompt in the middle of the number being dialled & the cause of your problem.
