Can anyone tell me how I would go about adding account codes to a MICS 4.1?
I have received several answers to this question, none of them correct.
My ultimate goal is to enable forced account codes or Authorization codes. I have been told that I will need a CAS program and CTA to accomplish account code verification.
But I cannot even find a field to enter account codes.
They are telling me that Nortel's recommended solution is RSI Shadow(talk?) - Buut I have another CAS vendor who is willing to work with me on trying to force/verify account codes, if I can just send him some.
Someone told me to use the COS passwords as Account/Auth codes. But that seems like an awfully backwards and limited way of accomplishing what is a normal feature on most other sytems.
Is there some piece of equipment I need to add that will then include account code fields?
