Trying to implement a solution where all incoming and outgoing calls are tagged with an account code for billing purposes. Outgoing calls are fine. I have padded out the dial short codes and set them to force account code. The problem lies with incoming calls. If a user presses the account code button and enters an account code while talking to the client the external caller hears the DTMF digits being entered. This isnt very professional. Is there anyway to stop the external caller hearing the DTMF tones?
I know you can associate an Account Code with an incoming CLI or also enter the codes via Phone Manager but neither of these are suitable methods.
Associating an Account Code with an Incoming Call Route would have been perfect :-(
