I accidentally deleted it, and now when i start my computer, I only get a blank screen. What can i do to get some video up so taht I can go in and reinstall my video adapters. Any help would be truly helpful.
That is what is baffling me precisely! I don't even get the first screen well before Windows has even booted up. I can assure you the monitor is connected properly. Everything was fine until I had uninstalled the Display adapter and restarted, since I wanted to do a fresh install. I have also tryed "F8" prior on startup before my first post here, and that did nothing as well . Please Help!
Check if you have an on-board adapter as well as your AGP. Some systems will default back to this in the absence of another one. Just swap vga plug and try it..
Also, at the beep where you would hit F8 for selective startup, hit F5 to boot up clean. IF you can boot up clean, you should be able to get it going from there.
