Accessing Websites

Hi

I have a problem that has only occurred in the last 2 days, i am unable to access

http://www.wanadoo.co.uk

i know this is working ok at other places as i have checked, i can get into wanadoo france. But not

http://www.wanadoo.co.uk

I have tried to ping it and cannot get a reply. This is the same for everyone in my company. Any advice

Check your hosts file and try doing a tracert to it as well.

Do you have dns resolution to it and just don't get any reply to the pings (ie timed out).

I have pinged

http://www.wanadoo.com

and it comes back no problems, but when i ping wanadoo.co.uk it just times out, my hosts files looks ok, as in it doesn't have any added entries in

is your company running any webfiltering software? as far as pinging - they could have it turned off.
what message are you getting when you try to access it?

no we are not using any webfiltering software, this has only happened in the last 2 days, was ok before that.

Im getting, this page can not be displayed please check your network settings
