Hello,
I'm currently configuring a 506E and was wanting to have a look at PDM.

I've created an username of "admin" with access level of 15 and a password.

I can seem to connect to the 506E with IE 8 and enter the above username and password succesfully.

I only get the attached screen capture, it sits there forever without progressing to the other menu's mentioned in the PDM Manuals.

I also have the following PDM entries in my configuration:

pdm location 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 inside
pdm group LOCALNET inside
pdm logging informational 100
pdm history enable

Thanks,
Geoff

That happened to me too. I don't *need* the PDM, though it would be nice. I read here(?) or on some other forum that newer java updates broke it. Something like v6 update 17 was the last one that worked, but don't quote me.

Eventually (not this month :-/) I will find time to play with it. PDM breaking did roughly correspond to me sifting throught add/remove programs and deleting all but the most recent java, so it may be the culprit.

Mike.

Thanks fishmahn,
Thanks kmills,

I rolled Java back to 1.4.0_01 and PDM burst into life!
