accessing nortel switch with minicom ...

Hi all,

I'm trying to access a BayStack 425-24T with minicom but I'm blocked in the "Ctrl+Y" prompt. I tried many combinations of keys, tried to change VT102 and ANSI terminal without success.

the same problem also with cutecom.

Any idea ?

Minicom makes console servers? I thought only KVM?

I know that I have never had an issue using Teraterm or Hyperterm with the 425 directly.

If you are using a console server, I would baseline it with a PC direct first...what term emulator are you using?
Yes, its VT100 by the way.

I'm accessing the 425 from a Linux box, and minicom is the terminal emulator I'm trying to connect to the switch console.
