Is it possible for the above task to be done?

If yes, please indicate how.

Thanks in advance

You can set up an ODBC Data Source. This is done at the Windows/Settings level. And should point to the Access Database in question.
Then you can use the formula language or scripts to access and retrieve data from Access.
Lotus script allows you to use SQL statements and to read, add or modify the database.
Use the @Db functions @DbColumn, @DbLookup and @DbCommand with the ODBC argument etc. Be careful with the use of NoCache as it effects what is returned and when.
@DbCommand allows you to use SQL statements.
Also you can use LSXODBC the LSX Classes in LotuScript. But that is too mich to explain in this way. I suggest you have a read of the manual.
