Is it possible to pull a HD out of a laptop and access from another laptop or CPU as a slave drive? If so, how? My current laptop is dying and I would love to pull info off easily.

Any help or comment would be appreciated.

You could buy an adapter kit (10 to 20$) and mount it so it becomes a 3" drive. Include rails and an adapter for the 46 pin to a 40 pin +power conversion.

Try a google search for hard drive adapter.
