I need to know how to program all sets on a compact ICS to get dialtone with receiver pickup. I have read the manuals backward and foreward and know that I am missing something here. I assume it has something to do with line pooling but think there must be more to it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Richard

If you are wanting to access a CO line every time handset is lifted goto terminal and sets for that DN and program prime line for your pool group. So if pool group A is used to dial 9 to access an outgoing CO line it would be pool group A. Good Luck!!

1st - assign each "live" line on the system to Pool A - this can be found under 'Lines -> Trunk/Line Data' in programming.

2nd - give each set line Pool A access - this is found under 'Terminals&Sets -> Line Access -> Line Pool Access'

3rd - make each sets Prime line = Pool A - this is found under 'Terminals&Sets -> Line Access -> Prime Line'
