Accessing command prompt during bootup

Is there a way to access the command prompt during bootup in WinNT similar to using <F8> key in Win95 and Win98? [sig][/sig]

No, basically becasue NT is not written on top of DOS. You can only get to a command prompt once NT is loaded.
