HI,

I could use some help.

Problem is I have one extension that when a 9 is pressed to access the outside she gets the wave off tones. This user is able to receive both external / internal calls but is unable to make any external calls.

Worst part about this is this switch is in a remote location and using WinSPM is one of the most frustrating things since the child locking caps on aspirins.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you

I wanted to thank you guys again for the good trouble-shooting advice.

Every time in the past that I had to access the Merlin magix system with WinSPM I would cringe.

Now knowing that if I can't figure it out, I can post it here and get some professional help makes things a lot less terrible.

Trying to learn how to work on a legend/magix is daunting considering that the manuals are rather poorly written IMO. It turns out that if you focus on reading and interpreting the prints you can tshoot just about anything.

This is true, I just didn't have enough input to the Feature Reference.

Ever see a "DIGITAL ANNOUNCER"?

Yes I have seen digital announcers and have programmed them as primary and secondary.

Hmmm.. Did you just say that you were responsible for writing some of the tech manuals?

If TRUE then
GOTO Function FootFromMouthRemoval
Else
GOTO Function IReferToMyPreviousStatement
End If

hehe!

BTW I am rather giddy tonight so my previous post is simply good natured fun.

Well, the old original one, before the 15A & 18A yes.

Once I got the Manual written, we rarley got a call on it.

And then one day, Avaya decided to make it go away and replace it with the 15A & 18A.

Oh Well....

Holy god of tech manuals merlinman! Years ago I would pray seemingly daily to the telecommunication gods to make my merlin 2 and legend work. You must have heard my pleas for help.

Man...no kidding. Dude I am impressed and humbled. I don't suppose that you have a copy of your text sitting on a bookshelf at your house?

Elaborate a little on the differences as you see it.

Well, GarGoSki, I haven't re-written the entire Feature Reference.

But what are you trying to do.

I do have my own translations of a bunch of it.....
