I have two W2k servers, both set up with separate Active Directories, both in separate Domains. Our organization logs on to Domain #1, how can I configure these domains so users can access a Library database server program on Domain #2.

are the two domains in two different forests? or the same forests and two different trees? child domain?

There are two different domains in two different forests.

They are:

local.MHS.com
and
local.mcfarland.com

We log on to: local.MHS.com

Minimally, you need a trust where Domain2 is the trusting domain, and Domain1 is the trusted domain. Once that's done, you set up file permissions accordingly...
