How can I use Access2000 mdb files on Access97?

To my knowledge, you can't. Most software is downgradeable, but not upgradeable, ie. 97 will work on 2000, but 2000 won't work on 97.
Hope this clears things up!

I've got an answer from other source that Access2000 has a tool to convert the files to use on downgrade software like Access97.

Yes you can convert the access 2000 database to be used in access 97.

In the access 2000, go to the tools menu. There is a Database Utilities section that will allow you to convert the file to prior access database versions

You should then be able to open the database file with access 97.

Hope this helps... mot98..[peace]
