Hi,
why can't I create an mde-file of my database project ?
After telling source- and destination file it tells me
that it can't create the mde-file.
any suggestions ?
thanks in advance

There are all kinds of possible reasons, including compile errors in your VBA, lack of disk space where you're trying to create the MDE, and so on. The exact text of your error message may help to diagnose the problem. Also, try compiling the VBA before creating the MDE (Debug, Compile... in the VB editor window).

It's quite a common problem, microsoft have something on KB about if you have over 700 forms with "Has module" set to yes, then this will occur.

But assuming you haven't got over 700 forms, then i'd suggest creating a new database and then importing all of your object into the clean database.

Then create an MDE file from the new one. Solves the problem more often than not.

it's like you assumed mp9.
By compiling I found some VB errors.
But that message ...
It only says Creating mde-file not possible.
