Access Voicemail from different handset

Easy one this, two phones have their own voicemail box etc... however what is the easiest/best way of accesing phone 2's voicemail from phone 1?

I would have thought this depends on what voicemail system your running. Also what switch version?

Will this be a regular thing or is it just a whenever its needed?

Using the embedded voice mail system on a Mitel 3300 mxe controller,

Some phones might access once a month, others on a daily basis

Just dial the access number from phone 1, press * and access phone 2's mailbox.

Alternatively, program a message lamp key onto phone 1's handset and when there is a message they get notification and when they press the button it will dial the relevant mailbox.

Easiest method is to program a Message Indicator on Phone 1 for Phone 2. The key will flash when messages are left for phone 2 and pressing key will request passcode for phone 2 mailbox.

kwb's suggest is easiest in my opinion. the MWI button will flash. all you do is press is, enter the passcode and your in.
