I am using AutoCAD LT 2002 and everytime I try to measure an angle I get the warning Unhandled Exception C0000005 Access Violation Reading 0x3be87c0) at address 6544BAB7h. What does this mean and how do I fix it?

I'm having a problem in Acad 2002, particularly when changing line types and colours, getting the message,

FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x10a8a90 Exception at 6544bab7h

Then the program dies, the recovery is crap as well... Any ideas in your travels???

Unhandled exceptions are common and only a handful actually have fixes. Can you describe how to recreate the error exactly (i.e. "you did this, and then selected this...&quot. Sometimes, our only fix was to reinstall AutoCAD (the order in which it was installed in relation to other programs can have some effect).
