Hi,
My company has delivered two Windows 2003 servers, one for production and one backup. On these servers we have som peripheral equipment such as printers and an APC PowerChute Business Edition connected via USB on both servers.
Problem 1: On the backup server we have had som problems with this UPS device. Sometimes the communicaion is lost. At two occasions we have had Communication lost. The system log reveals that the device driver could not be loaded because of a STATUS_LOG_HARD_ERROR. Recommendation is to reinstall the driver. We have not reinstalled it yet and the last occurance of this was at the november 10. Should i t be reinstalled or is this a temporary setback?
Problem 2: On the production server we have had dousens of these error messages yesterday: "Access violation at address 0056243E in module 'console.exe'. Read of address 00F220c4." The APC console is started with console.exe. The UPS log and the Application and System log reveals nothing, so I don't have a clue on what to do whis this problem. I was hoping anyone could have any suggestions.
Any suggestion or ideas on these problems. I would be very grateful.
