How do I link a table from Access to certain feilds on an MS Word form?

Do you want to take data in an Access table and place them into a Word doc? Or do you want someone to change a word in your document and update a table? Or ...? Could you be more specific, please.

Neil

jstewart10, take a look at this.

Then answer Neil's questions (he's a lot smarter than I am!)

You will be more likely to get answers if you specifically outline your problem, clearly tell us what you would like to happen, and show us what you have done so far.

There are only two rules for success: (1) Never tell everything you know.

I need to fill out a predetermined forms with blank fields such as "Name", "Date", "SSN", etc.

These values need to extracted from a database table in Access. I want all the forms to have different information.

Do I have to use the DDE functions from Access?

The fields I am talking about are in Word

Hi Judge,

Thank you for your informative post. Indeed I have run across that entry. I'm excited about what it can do, but have yet to see results. I try running the code and I get an error:
"database":

user definied type not found.

What would you suggest.

Thank you for your response.
