Its probably bad practise, but I have also posted this in the Blackberry forum:

I have Blackberry BES 4.0 and some 7290 handhelds.
We are using GroupWise 6.5.4.

Is there any way that anyone knows that the users can access the folders in their cabinet. We can see the folders and even folders within folders, but the folders are empty.

TIA

Emily

So after expanding the cabinet folders and then choosing Select Folder from that screen shows nothing in the folder?

When we installed our BES I can not think of anything special we had to do in order to view GW Cabinet folders. I am still a newby when it comes to BB's. But it sounds like some sort of reconcilliation issue. I'll check our BES settings to see if anything pops out @ me.

Thanks FarOut,
Yes, you can select folder and the screen shows a * No Messages* message with the folder name as a header.

I'm a total newby to it too (as you can tell). I've have a quick look at the server settings, but have found nothing, although that doesn't mean much. It took me ages to find out how to give a user access to their addressbook.

Thanks for your help. I'll let you know if I turn anything up here.

I haven't done this personally, but I saw something once that basically said you have to tell it which folders you want to synchronize. This is to save bandwidth and memory. Otherwise you would potentially ahve your entire mailstore on your blackbery and that isn't practical.
