Access the right-click menu via javascript?

Is it possible to access the right click menu through javascript? What I'm actually after is the right-click menu for a textarea, which includes an undo feature to undo changes, and I'd like (or the company insist!!) to be able to access this through a button on the page.

you can't do so with javascript (as far as i know)
but it's very very easy with c++ under windows (jsut use the mfc)
