The format of my access reports does not save. The reports revert to portrait view and to the default margins everytime the datbase is reopened - particularly when it is reopened by an other user/computer or when updates have been made to the supporting queries.

These reports are part of a muti-user database and need to be viewed/printed by multiple users. The users do not need to be able to edit format.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi there, it sounds like you have not updated your Service Packs in a while. There is a bug that was fixed in SP1 or 2 that fixed this problem. It is a weird connection between the "Name Auto Correct" settings in the options and the report layout reverting to it's default settings. I know there is an artical about this on Microsoft.com. If you can't find it or need further assistance, please post again. But basically, you need to update your service packs or change the Name Auto Correct settings to fix the problem. (if this is indeed the problem you are having.)

Is there a patch/solution for this defect?

Thanks for your response. This is the 2nd reference to a defect that I have seen. I took a look on Microsoft.com, but still having a hard time finding a solution or a work around.
