I CREATED A ACCESS BASE WITH 6 DIFFERENT TABLES
AFTER THAT, I CREATED A FORM BASED ON THAT 6 TABLES TO MAKE IT LOOKS MORE PROFESSIONAL

HOWEVER, WHEN I ENTERED ONE DATA ENTRY, IT ONLY UPDATE THE INFORMATION ON THE FIRST TABLE BUT NOT THE REST. WHY IS THAT?

PLEASE SEE DETAILS FOR MY TABLE FORMAT:

I BASICALLY HAVE 6 TABLES
ONE HAVE ID, NAME, AND INFORMATION RELATED TO COMPUTER
TWO HAVE ID, NAME, AND INFORMATION RELATED TO BOOKS
AND SO ON.

I WENT INTO RELATIONSHIP FUNCTION AND LINK UP THE ID & NAME BETWEEN EACH TABLE AS STRAIGH LINE,
FOR EXAMPLE:
TABLE 1 ID TO TABLE 2 ID, THEN TABLE 2 TO TABLE 3, 4, 5 AND 6
TABLE 1 NAME TO TABLE 2 NAME, THEN TABLE 2 TO TABLE 3, 4, 5 AND 6

WHEN I OPENED MY FORM I CAN ENTER INFORMATION WITH NO PROBLEM BUT IT DOESN'T SEEMS LIKE THE INFORMATION I'VE ENTERED ARE LINKED TO MY TABLES.

WOULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEM ASAP?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

First, remove all the relationships you created.
Second, make a query of all the data you want to appear in the form (you can define temp relationships here).
Third, make a form based on the query, not the tables.
Result: The form will update the query, which will update the tables.
Note: please turn off caps lock when you type. It is considered yelling in chat rooms and message boards.

I've follwed what you've told me.
I create quaries for all six of my tables and then create a form base on that six quaries.

When I tried to open the form and enter data, it did allow me to modify the info. However, it will work just fine if I create form for only one quaries not six.

Please help again
thank you

Sorry, I didn't know about this.

Ok, you need to create only one query using all 6 tables. Then make your form off of that. You can link the tables together by using thier ID's.
Good luck

well, I tried to create only one query using all 6 tables which turns out a hugh file. However, after I create the form, I cannot type anything in any colume. Why is that?

Right now, there is no relationship set up. Is this a problem? If I do need to use the relationship, do I link the one from Table or Query?

Please help again. Thanks
