Hello!

We have two IP Office 8.1.63 connected via SCN. Each site has its own PRI. Would like to have a user from site A access the site B PRI to dial out to customers so that companies caller id is showing.

Any advice on how to program a button for a user to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Break Out

This feature is usable within a system multi-site network. It allows a user on one system in the network to specify that the following dialing be processed by another system on the network as if the user dialed it locally on that other system. Pre-Release 5.0: This feature requires the IP Offices to have Advanced Small Community Networking licenses.

The other way to do it is create a shortcode of 8N;/Dial/8N/SCNGroupID on system A, and on the shortcodes on the H323 line on system B, but 8N/Dial/N/ARS:50.
This will pick up the 8N code send across the SCN, and then dial it out the ARS table on site B. This is usually how I do it, when there is only one other site. The breakout is handy if there are multiple sites to choose from.
