ok, I am really new at access. I have been doing web design and flash for a while and I was wanting to start a data base with a site now, and I was told that access was the easiest to start with.. ok.. I have my database made (not the best mind but it works for the site so far), but I need to add a table to each of my tables (12 tables but all need the same type of table).. I know how to make tables but I can not figure out the drop down menu. I would like to have the table have a drop down menu with 4 different variables (4 different options to pick so that I don't have to type it all in) that store with the table.. I know you can do it and have looked in the help and also opened some of the templates (which is what I used to learn what I know now) with no luck.. I know everybody here knows how to do it, and might think that I need to be some where else to ask.. But please if you know, let me know.. or atleast let me know a good site to learn on my own.. Thanks... Mel..

Hi

Are you talking about have a combo box appear in the datasheet view of a table?

If yes, in design view of table, select column you want the combo on, then click on the lookup tab at bottom of form, choose combobox, set rowsource type to value list, and put your values in Rowsource like so Value1;Value2;...etc Regards
