Access Manager Error

Hi,

Im trying to change the default directory server in Cognos Access manager from production to development, however, when I right click on the dev DS & select 'Set As Default', I get an error message saying "Configuration information is missing from the registry or configuration file", however I havent changed my settings and its only the last few days it hasnt worked, so Im stuck on our production directory server....

Any ideas?

Are you logged in (OS password/login) as an administrator on the machine? Sometimes the permissions can cause this error if AM cannot read the registry correctly. Check with IT to see if they have patched, or secured the machine recently. Also, if doing it remotely - log on directly on the server and try it. Good luck!
